These terms apply to both vendors and customers using British Flower Market (BFM).

2. Vendor Fees

  • Commission: Vendors are charged 5% commission per sale.

  • Payment Processing: An additional 2.5% is charged per sale for processing.

  • Annual Membership:

    • £49 for Florist or Grower

    • £85 for Combined

    • Free for Community Members (not-for-profit/charities)

  • Introductory Pricing: These rates apply until 1 April 2026. From this date:

    • £64 for Florist or Grower

    • £109 for Combined


3. Product Types

Products sold may be perishable or non-perishable. Vendors are expected to clearly describe and categorise their items.


4. Delivery

  • Vendors are entirely responsible for delivery.

  • If using Royal Mail or another service, vendors must handle any follow-up in case of issues.

  • Gift bouquet orders are only considered confirmed once the customer receives a confirmation email from the vendor.

  • Vendors must deliver gift bouquets on the agreed date.

    • A full or partial refund is due if delivery is missed or late.


5. Packaging & Sustainability

  • Vendors agree to use zero-plastic, biodegradable packaging wherever possible.

  • Florists must ensure that at least 60% of flowers/foliage used in gift bouquets are British-grown.


6. Refunds

  • Customers must request a refund within 24 hours of receipt, including photographic evidence of any issue.

  • Requests should be sent to hello@britishflowermarket.com.

  • BFM will inform the vendor and help coordinate a replacement or refund.

  • Refunds (if approved) will be paid by BFM from the customer’s original payment.


7. Vendor Payouts

  • Vendors can withdraw earnings 7 days after a successful sale is made and payment received.
