Setting up your storefront

Welcome to British Flower Market! If you’re new here, this guide will walk you through the essential steps to get your vendor storefront set up and ready for customers.

1. Upload Your Logo and Store Banner
Your storefront branding helps customers recognise you. Go to Vendor Dashboard → Settings and upload:

  • A square logo (recommended: 300x300px)

  • A wide banner image (recommended: 1200x300px)

These images will appear on your store page and help communicate your brand identity.

2. Add a Store Description
Use this space to tell your story! What do you grow or make? What makes you different? This is your chance to build trust and connection with your customers.

Go to Vendor Dashboard → Settings → Store and fill in the Store Description box.

3. Set Your Store Address and Location
This is used for geolocation-based search and delivery estimates. Make sure your address is accurate so customers can find you in location-based searches.

Set this under Vendor Dashboard → Settings → Store → Address.

4. Choose Your Shipping Options
You can offer Free Pickup, Local Delivery (with a radius and price), and/or Royal Mail. Configure these under your Shipping Settings tab. Each method can have different availability (days/times), which will be shown to customers.

5. Add Your Delivery & Returns Info
Customers appreciate clarity. Under the Shipping Settings tab, add your:

  • Pickup availability (days/times)

  • Local delivery schedule

  • Royal Mail dispatch days

  • Refund and delivery policies

6. Set Up Payment
You’ll need to connect your account to receive earnings. Go to Vendor Dashboard → Settings → Payment and add your payment method.

7. Final Check
Once all the above is complete, preview your store page by clicking View Store from your dashboard. Make sure everything looks and reads the way you want.

If you have any issues, email us at hello@britishflowermarket.com and we’ll be happy to help.
