How do I join British Flower Market as a seller?

You can apply here to join as a florist, grower, or both. Once approved, you’ll receive access to your Vendor Dashboard to list products, set shipping options, and manage orders.

What types of sellers are accepted?

We welcome British growers, florists, and small-scale producers who grow or arrange flowers and foliage in the UK. Community members can also join to share surplus flowers.

How do I list my first product?

Head to your Vendor Dashboard and click “Add New Product.” You’ll be asked to provide images, product name, price, stem count, colour, and stock level. You can find full step-by-step guides in the Getting Started section.

Can I list products for local delivery only?

Yes. You can offer Free Pickup, Local Delivery, or Royal Mail shipping — or any combination. Set these in your Shipping Settings tab.

Do I need to list stock levels?

Yes. BFM uses a simple stock system to prevent overselling. Once stock reaches zero, your product is marked as “Out of Stock” until you update it.

When do I get paid?

You can withdraw your earnings 7 days after an order is marked as completed. Payments are processed via Stripe.

What happens if a customer requests a refund?

Customers have 24 hours to request a refund with photographic evidence. BFM handles the refund, and the amount will be deducted from your pending balance.

Can I offer custom orders?

Yes — especially for florists. Customers can fill out a bouquet order form for special requests, and you’ll be notified by email.

How do I set up my delivery options?

Use the Shipping Settings tab in your dashboard to set local delivery radius and prices, Royal Mail options, and pickup times.

How does Royal Mail box fitting work?

We use a smart box-fitting system that calculates which boxes your products can fit into based on dimensions. You can set your own box sizes and pricing.

Can I limit delivery to specific days?

Yes. You can define available days and times for local delivery and Royal Mail dispatch in your shipping settings.

How can I boost my visibility on the site?

We offer both free and paid marketing boosts. These include newsletter features, Instagram takeovers, and homepage spotlight placements. Learn more on the Marketing Boosts page.

How does the search ranking work?

Our algorithm prioritizes relevance, freshness, and proximity to the customer’s location. Adding clear titles, great photos, and accurate availability helps you show up more.
